Date Mar. 17, 1994A linear motor valve consists of a linear motor having a stator and an armature and a valve including a valve body housing a valve spool. The armature defines a magnetic bore through which hydraulic fluid leakage from the valve moves as the armature reciprocates. Magnetic debris is retained within the bore of the armature thereby precluding its movement to the other parts of the hydraulic circuit in which the valve is used.</p> |
