The connector (1) provides an electrical connection between a contact zone (2) of a printed circuit board (12) and a metallic casing component (3). This is achieved using a screw or rivet (4), which is fitted through a central opening in the electrically conductive connection element, to secure the latter to the casing component. The connection element has at least one contact pin for fitting through an opening (7) in the printed circuit board. The connector has a relatively large area flat surface, which contacts the casing component.
