A mechanism or arrangement (planetary scraper) for a fixed sieve/breaker (hammer mill) for olives which can be fitted to all fixed sieves of the breakers for the purpose of overcoming the problem of the oil paste settling on the outer surface of the sieve and the freeing of the holes in order to allow the passage of the oil paste. It consists of a moving ring 1 which slides on the fixed ring 2 through a gear or chain carrier fixed to its external diameter, where the gear is moved by the drive gear 4 clamped on the shaft of the electric reducer 3. Clamped to the moving ring 1 there is an arm 6 with a scraping blade 5 affixed to it along the full width of the fixed sieve 7. Sealing of the sliding surfaces is done by a rubber gasket 12 fixed within a groove 18 on the fixed ring. The advantage of the invention is the maximum performance of the breaker at the same time as lowering its revolutions by one half and the industrial degree of exhaustion of the olives as well as a definite improvement in the quality of the oil produced without creating sediments or an unpleasant taste. |
