The sheet influencing device has provision for an air jet (12) to be blown through the sheet suction system (4) between the rear edge of the sheet and the printing cylinder after the printing zone (2, 9) of the offset and printing cylinder and before the sheet (6) is gripped. There may be a blast tube (8) after the printing zone, extending over the width of the printing cylinder and supplied with compressed air.
