PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine biomedical components non-invasively without drawing such as blood from a body by moving a sensor part so that an absorbance in specific wave length will be within the prescribed bounds. SOLUTION: An infrared light in specific wave length is exposed with an infrared exposure means 1 and it is incident on an ATR prism 11 in a sensor case 2. A part of the infrared light is absorbed into a biological sample 5 and the attenuate infrared light is led by an infrared light detecting means 3 to find the absorbance. It moves the ATR prism 11 vertically with a pressure control means 9 so that the absorbance will be within the prescribed bounds and increases a contact area to the biological sample 5. And it sets the wave length of the infrared light that is corresponding to the biomedical component to measure, for example, in calculation for glucose concentration, it sets the wave length of the infrared light in 9.66μm, to find the absorbance. At a calculation means 4, based on the relation between the previously produced concentration of biomedical component and the absorbance, it finds the glucose concentration.
