<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage nonlinear resistor, in which discharge withstand current rating performance is improved and dispersion of the rating is suppressed. SOLUTION: The resistor is constituted of a ceramic material body 1 having an electric function, external electrodes 2 formed on the surfaces of the ceramic material body 1, insulting O-rings 3 positioned on outer peripheral regions of the external electrodes 2, and bonding material members 4 of an inorganic adhesive material, which bonds the ceramic material body 1 on which the external electrodes 2 are formed, with the insulting O-ring together. Consequently, it is possible to ease concentration of the skin current due to lighting impulse current to the outer periphery of the material body 1 for preventing creeping flashover, enabling realization of superior discharge withstand current rating characteristic.</p> |
