PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which the developer of a specified T/C ratio (weight ratio of toner and carrier) can be easily set on a developing device by a service man, etc., even though two-component developer adjusted to the specified T/C ratio is not prepared, and by which the shaking of the developer by the service man, etc., is not required, an adequate triboelectrified charge can be imparted to toner, and a care in developer keeping environment, etc., caused in accordance with the preparation of the developer adjusted to the specified T/C ratio can be unnecessitated. SOLUTION: When the two-component developer 19 inside the developing container 16 of the developing device 4 is discharged and exchanged for new developer, the developer whose carrier includes the toner of equal to or less than a specified concentration (T/C ratio) and whose concentration is not adjusted is prepared. The prepared developer is put inside the container 16 from which the old developer 19 is discharged, the container 16 is replenished with toner 18 for replenishment while an ATR 30 detects developer concentration inside the developer 16, and the new developer with a specified value of the toner concentration is set on the device 4. |
