PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the telephone set capable of being made small in size, light in weight and low in cost with less number of components without impairing basic functions of the telephone set. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set 31' is provided with a telephone set use multi-function vibration actuator 30 that is mounted in a telephone set case, transduces an electric energy into a mechanical energy to produce vibration and controls a frequency and a waveform of an electric input signal to itself and generates respectively voice, call tone and body sensing vibration externally in place of discrete components (speaker, buzzer, vibrator) to generate voice, call tone and vibration.
