PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent viewing of a received video image from being disturbed in the case of an operation of a program guide. SOLUTION: When a program guide display key provided to a remote controller (remote commander) 14 is depressed, a request of program guide data is given to a digital broadcast receiver 12. The digital broadcast receiver 12 reads the program guide data from a transponder and stores the data once to a DRAM 32. Then the program guide data are read from the DRAM 32 and sent to the remote controller 14. The remote controller 14 receives the program guide data and displays the program guide on an LCD. Thus, the program guide is operated by referencing the program guide displayed on the LCD and a request corresponding to the operation is given to the digital broadcast receiver 12. |
