PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic pagination device by which the operation is made efficient by automatically allocating and paginating folios corresponding to the total number of pages of a document. SOLUTION: A CPU requests an operator to input a set value needed for a pagination process (S201) and edits a new folio to be paginated according to the inputted set value (S202). Then the information file of a page to be paginated is opened (S203). Here, it is judged whether or not a previous folio is already paginated in the opened information file (S204). When no previous folio is paginated, the pagination process for the new folio is started, but when the folio is already paginated, the previous folio is deleted and the new folio is paginated (S205, 206). After the new folio is paginated, the information is closed (S207). Then it is judged whether the pagination processes for new folios is done for all pages. |
