PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at the improvement of the functions of a food capable of inducing the synergistic effect of potencies of both materials as compared with the single use of the materials by mixing a powder and an extract of a bamboo glass and Agaricus blazei. SOLUTION: This food contains a mixture of a powder or an extract of a bamboo glass and a powder or an extract of Agaricus blazei as main components. However, there are characteristic differences between the bamboo glass and the Agaricus blazei (mushroom). Especially, the Agaricus blazei lacks a tasting property, time dependent changes of the components thereof are severe, and its powder and extract containing <=20% solid portion, are not suitable for a preservation for a long period of time. The main food function of the bamboo glass and the Agaricus blazei is to enhance an immune-power by components centered around polysaccharides. The mixture of the both powders and extracts can enhance the functionality more than that of using them singly. |
