摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight glass bulb in which there is no possibility for glass fracture to occur at the sealing part of a lead wire and the lead- through end of an enclosing part. SOLUTION: This airtight glass bulb comprises a glass bulb 1, a lead wire 5 that is led outside the bulb 1 by being sealed in and penetrating through the bulb 1, and an electric component element that is placed in the glass bulb 1 and is connected to the lead wire 5, and is so formed that the leakage angleθof the glass of the sealing part at the lead wire lead-through end of the bulb 1 is not less than 90 deg.. If the leakage angle of the glass of the sealing part is not more than 90 deg., a small thickness glass coating is formed around the lead wire lead-through part and as a result, the possibility of the occurrence of glass fracture increases.
