PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the user to locate ejected sheets of output results at a glance and get the output results with ease in a short period. SOLUTION: The CPU of a sorter 220 directs that the recording media delivered from a composite image processor be ejected or sorted out on a plurality of bins of the sorter 220 according to instruction information on ejected sheets that is fed thereto by the composite image processor. The memory of the sorter 220 stores ejected sheet information indicating the state of ejected sheets, which the CPU of the sorter 220 places on a display part for each bin of the sorter 220.
