PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polypropylene resin composition used for filament nonwoven fabrics, hardly generating a smoke on the shaping of the composition and having excellent high speed spinnability. SOLUTION: This polypropylene resin composition for filament nonwoven fabrics has (1) a melt flow rate(MFR) of 30-70 g/10 min, (2) a memory effect(ME) of <=0.95, (3) a ratio (η 0.1/η 100) of <=1.7 between a melt viscosity (η 0.1) at a frequency of 0.1 rad/sec determined by a mechanical spectrometer at 230 deg.C and a melt viscosity (η 100) at a frequency of 100 rad/sec, (4) an isothermal crystallization time of <=50 sec determined by a differential scanning calorimeter at 125 deg.C, and (5) a <=70C hydrocarbon content of <=0.10 wt.% in the resin. |
