PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for forming lenses that facilitates the mold release and provide a production process for lenses that can facilitate the mold release after lens molding. SOLUTION: Lenses are press-molded by using a mold for forming lenses that comprises a pair of the top force and the bottom force that are arranged in opposition to each other so that the molding faces come on the inner sides, in which the molding face has a larger diameter than the effective diameter of the lens, at least one in the couple of molds has depressions on the molding face where these depressions are formed on the outer places than the effective diameter of the lens in the plain view and the projections formed by the depressions come onto the molded face surrounding the depressions, when the molded material shrinks after the projections are formed. |
