PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve spouting stability, water resistance, light fastness and so on by heating a printing part at a specific temperature to be fixed immediately after a printing process, in a recording device employing water dispersive ink containing a water medium and fine resin particles colored by coloring material dispersed minutely therein. SOLUTION: The recording medium 1 is fed in a manner being wound around a platen 12 under the compression of a bail roller 11, and is printed by four ink jet heads 2Y, 2M, 2C and 2BK every color of yellow, magenta, cyan and black mounted on a carried movable along stay shafts 13 parallel to the platen 12. In this case, a heating shaft 15 is provided in noncontact relation with the recording medium 1 having a heating source housed therein at the front stage of the bail roller 11, viz., in a space immediately after the printing position. Thus, immediately after the printing process, printing is heated among temperatures of a glass transition temperature of fine resin particles dispersed in ink, thereby carrying out fixing positively stably. |
