PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process the interruption and deferment of a printing job based on output preferential order so as not to generate an obstacle in relation to post-processing and a sheet discharge state in an image forming apparatus capable of receiving a plurality of printing jobs at the same time and capable of performing post-processing such as sorting or stapling to a cut sheet after printing. SOLUTION: When there is a job B during execution when the printing demand of a job A is generated (S901), output preferential order is judged (S904) and, when the preferential order of the job A is higher, it is judged whether the post-processing of the jobs A, B is necessary (S907, S908, S912). Further, the sheet discharge state to first and second paper discharge trays is judged (S909, S913). The job B is interrupted corresponding to two judge results to execute the job A by interruption (S910, S911) or the job B is continued and the job A is left over (S914). |
