PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resistor in which short circuit between resistance patterns is suppressed, whose life can be made long and which can be miniaturized, by a method wherein the resistance patterns composed of a conductive film in which concentration of sodium is specified are formed on a substrate. SOLUTION: In respective materials for an overcoat glass 4, an insulating substrate 6 and resistance patterns 5, concentration of sodium is reduced. Especially among them, the concentration of the sodium in the overcoat glass 4 is normally high at 1,000 ppm. When it is set at 500 ppm or lower, the movement JNa of sodium ions is reduced, the growth of a dendrite is suppressed, and the time up to the continuity between the resistance patterns 5 is extended sharply. By using a resistor 2 in this shape, the growth of the dendrite is suppressed, and the continuity between the resistance patterns 5 can be suppressed when the concentration of the sodium in the overcoat glass 4 is set at 500 ppm or lower. As a result, the life of the resistor 2 can be lengthened. In addition, the continuity between the resistance patterns can be suppressed even when the resistor 2 is not made large. As a result, the resistor 2 can be miniaturized.
|
