PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition which can give a molding remarkably improved in strength properties and heat aging resistance by blending a thermoplastic resin with an N-acyl basic amino acid and a filler. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin (A) containing at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyolefin resins, polystyrene resins, polyester resins, polyamide resins and engineering plastics with 0.005-10 pts.wt. of an N-acyl basic amino acid (B) whose acyl groups comprise acyl groups forming a 5-31C linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon monocarboxylic acid, preferably an N-acyl basic amino acid substituted not at theα-position, and 0.1-300 pts.wt. of a filler (C) comprising, e.g. glass fibers, mica, clay or talc. The use of an antioxidant together, if necessary, is desirable because of an enhanced effect.
