PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an antimicrobial polyolefin film which provides long-lasting antimicrobial and antimildew effects by incorporating an antimicrobial agent into a polyolefin film which has a specified melt index and comprises 4-8Cα-olefin units in a specified content and the balance being propylene units or propylene units and ethylene units. SOLUTION: This antimicrobial polyolefin film is prepd. by incorporating 0.05-10 wt.% antimicrobial agent prepd. by causing a carrier having an average particle size of 0.1-5μm to carry 0.05-10 wt.% metal component selected from among silver, copper, zinc, and tin into a polyolefin film which has a melt index of 0.1-50 g/10 min and comprises 1-80 wt.% 4-8Cα-olefin units and the balance being propylene units or propylene units and ethylene units. The antimicrobial polyolefin film is laminated to at least one side of a polypropylene film to give a multilayer antimicrobial film. The polyolefin film is made of a polymer selected from among propylene-α-olefin copolymers, propylene- ethylene-α-olefin copolymers, their mixtures, or the like.
