METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DOWN-LOADING AUTOMATICALLY FACSIMILE BASED ON AVAILABLE STORAGE SPACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically down-loading a facsimile when it is discriminated that a sufficient available storage space is in existence in a memory of a portable communication equipment. SOLUTION: A transmitter side 150 discriminates a size of a document to be sent and informs a portable communication equipment 110 of the size of the document. The portable communication equipment 110 discriminates whether or not an available storage space in an internal memory 130 is sufficient by using a controller 140, down-loads a facsimile to the memory 130 when sufficient or stops facsimile transmission or receives part of the facsimile when insufficient. Instead, sufficient data are deleted from the memory 130 or sufficient memory capacity is added automatically by means of the portable communication equipment 110 or an instruction to the user 100.
