PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic closing device which can detect a foreign matter and prevent its insertion even in the case where the opening and closing moving speed of a moving body varies or the foreign matter is small. SOLUTION: This automatic slide door device 10 is equipped with a speed variation detecting element 108 for detecting the variation of a driving speed more than a specific value of a slide motor 88 and a pressure sensitive sensor 60 provided at the front end of a door panel, and the detection of a foreign matter is carried out using the pressure sensitive sensor 60 excepting a domain where the door panel slides at a fixed speed. Thus, the detection of the foreign matter becomes practicable in a domain where the detection of the foreign matter based on the detection of speed variation carried out by the speed variation detecting element 108 has been difficult. Since the detection of the foreign matter based on a speed variation except a domain where the door panel moves at a fixed speed is not carried out, the reference value of speed variation of the speed variation detecting element 108 on which the door panel is judged to be given a pressing reaction from the foreign matter in the domain where the door panel moves at a fixed speed can be set higher to increase sensibility. |
