PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet construction for ground for stabilizing soil. SOLUTION: A lower layer 12 of a sheet material for ground for filtering consisting of a synthetic filament or fiber with the number n of tie portion being 15 to 40 and the yarn number count of a certain D as well as an upper layer 14 of a sheet material for ground protection consisting of a synthetic filament or fiber with the tie portion having the opening larger than that of the lower layer and with the yarn number count of at least 2D are used and the upper layer and lower layer are combined together. Sufficient mechanical protection for securing uniformity during use can be obtained and any desired filtering function can be efficiently obtained.
