PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a studless type pneumatic tire capable of simultaneously and excellently effecting both the partial wear resistance and the performance on the ice and snow. SOLUTION: This tire is provided with a large number of blocks B1 , B2 , B3 in the tread part partitioned by circumferential longitudinal grooves and transverse grooves, and the respective blocks B1 , B2 , B3 have a plurality of sipes in the width direction of the tread, and are provided with pairs of wide longitudinal grooves 6 and narrow longitudinal grooves 5 at least in the vicinity of both inclined regions of the tread surface, and a stepped land part 11 is provided between a pair of the wide longitudinal groove 6 and the narrow longitudinal groove 5. In this case, the width d1 of the wide longitudinal groove 6 on the one side of the pair in the axial rotational direction of the tire is made to be twice or more of the d2 of the narrow longitudinal groove 5 on the other side in the axial rotational direction of the tire, and the value of (w×d2 )/h} is to be 0.6 or more, in which the product (w×d2 ) of the axial rotational width w of the tire in the block B2 directly adjacent to the narrow longitudinal groove 5 on the other side multiplied by the axial rotation width d2 of the tire in the narrow longitudinal groove 5 on the other side is divided by the maximum depth h of the narrow longitudinal groove 5 on the other side. |
