摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly select a light source color, to make a light source hardly contaminated by photocatalytic effect, and to purify the air in a place where the light source is set by controlling the thickness of a titanium oxide film formed on the outer surface of the light source to a thickness within a specified range. SOLUTION: A titanium oxide film 0.05-0.15μm in thickness is uniformly formed on the outer surface of a glass tube of light source, and the interference color is set to pale bluish violet to provide a light source reduced in glare and also having the photocatalytic effect of titanium. The thickness of the titanium oxide film is set to 0.15-0.25μm, and the interference color is set to red violet, whereby a light source having a chromaticity value of light source color shifted in reddish violet direction and also having the photocatalytic effect of titanium oxide is provided. Otherwise, the film thickness of titanium oxide is set to 0.25-0.35μm, and the interference color is set to yellowish green, whereby the chromaticity value of the light source is shifted to yellowish green direction. When a silicon oxide film is formed in a thickness of about 0.05-0.2μm on the lower layer of the titanium oxide layer, the photocatalytic effect of titanium oxide can be highly effectively kept.
