摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of sludge in a mixed liquid discharged from an aeration tank and to enable efficient biotreatment by installing a solid-liquid separator in a discharge opening part of the mixed liquid of the aeration tank of an activated sludge treatment facility for decomposing sewage by microorganisms. SOLUTION: In an aeration tank A used in an oxidation ditch method for a small-scale sewage treatment, an overflow water tank B is installed in its discharge opening part 2, and the tank B is connected with a precipitation tank C. An aeration device 5 is installed in the circulating water passage of the aeration tank A, sludge in the tank A and introduced sewage (a) are mixed, oxygen necessary for aerobic treatment by microorganisms is supplied by aeration, and organic substances in sewage is decomposed biologically. In this process, a mixed liquid overflowing from the aeration tank A is introduced into the precipitation tank C from a solid-liquid separator 1 installed in the discharge opening part 2 of the tank A through the overflow water tank B. In the solid- liquid separator 1, a catchment trough having a triangular notch 12 is installed in its upper part, and numbers of inclined plates 11 are arranged parallel at necessary intervals in its lower part.</p>
