Counterflow drier-cooler for product subjected to heat treatment

Above the withdrawal base a bed of the product is formed in which the product flows from top to bottom. The drier-cooler is arranged so that via the base a current of air is fed which flows in counterflow to the product through the bed. At the top side an air outlet is provided. Devices (III, VI) are provided which between one quarter and three quarters of the height of the bed suck out from the drier-cooler a part of the fed air. The devices comprise angle irons and an air suction channel.
