PURPOSE:To make the network flexible by including at least two wavelength switching lasers or over and an optical switch outputting selectively one output of the wavelength switching lasers to the device. CONSTITUTION:A transmission signal 1 including transmission opposite party information is inputted to a transmission buffer memory 2 and the memory 2 reads a required transmission optical frequency from the destination information. The memory 2 sets a transmission optical frequency of a 1st transmission light source 3 and a 2nd transmission light source 4 based on the information. Moreover, the memory 2 sends a switching signal to an optical switch 5 to output selectively a light of a required optical frequency in the outputs of the two light sources 3, 4. Moreover, the wavelength changeover transmission section is realized by using an optical modulator 6 in matching the switching timing to apply a transmission signal to the transmission light. |
