PURPOSE:To maintain good dispersion stability and image density even after long-term use or preservation by using a fixer consisting of an insoluble chain copolymer in a carrier liquid captured by entanglement of molecular chains with each other. CONSTITUTION:The fixer to be used is formed of the chain copolymer consisting of the copolymer which is soluble in the carrier liquid having an electrical insulating characteristic and in which the vinyl copolymer essentially consisting of a vinyl acetate monomer insoluble in the carrier liquid is captured by the entanglement of the molecular chains with each other. The toner particles in which the fixer and dye are integrally combined with each other are, there fore, formed and are stably dispersed in the carrier liquid. The elution of the copolymer soluble in the carrier liquid in the carrier liquid from the toner particles is obviated. The high image density and the good electrostatic charge stability are obtd. in this way even after continuous repetitive use. |
