Substituted amino compounds of formula (I) and their salts are new. R1 = H, OH, O-(1-6C alkyl) or O-(3-7C cycloalkyl), provided that R1 is not H when R2 and R7 are both H or when there is an OCH3 group in the 7-position; R2 = H (if R1 is not H), OH, 1-6C alkyl, O-aryl, 2-6C alkenylene-aryl, O-(3-7C cycloalkyl), Cl, F, 1-6C alkoxy, aryl, heterocyclyl, 1-6C alkyl-heterocyclyl, 1-6C alkyl-aryl, 5,6- or 6,7-benzo (which is optionally substituted by 1 or 2 Cl, F, CF3, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy or OH groups); or R2+R7 = O-(CH2)-O or O-(CH2)2-O in the 5,6- or 6,7- position; provided that when R1 and R2 or R7 are H, R2 or R7 are not CF3 and R2 or R7 cannot be a 7-OCH3 group; R3 = H; R4 = 1-6C alkyl; or R3+R4 = (CH2)1-4; R5 = 1-6C alkyl or 3-7C cycloalkyl; R6 = 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkyl-aryl, 1-6C alkyl-heterocyclyl, -CH2-CH=C(R8)2, -CH2-(3-7C cycloalkyl) or 3-7C cycloalkyl; R7 = H (if R1 is not H), OH, 1-6C alkyl, O-aryl, 2-6C alkenylene-aryl, O-(3-7C cycloalkyl), Cl, F, 1-6C alkoxy, aryl, heterocyclyl, 1-6C alkyl-heterocyclyl, 1-6C alkyl-aryl, 5,6- or 6,7-benzo (which is optionally substituted by 1 or 2 Cl, F, CF3, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy or OH groups; R8 = H or CH3.
