FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device can be used for winning sapropel from restricted water basins. Device is provided with following units: floating facility having earth suction pump, receiving unit for collecting sapropel, flexible hose, winch, and unit for treating sapropel. Receiving unit is made in the form of rectangular in plan and overturned metal box which is U-shaped in lateral cross-section. It has skis for resting on underlying layer in water basin. Located in middle part of box cover is pipe union connected with flexible suction pipeline by means of rigid pipeline installed on box cover. Suction part of pipe union is located with clearance above resting plane of box skis. Fastened on box cover are pontoons which are adapted for blowing with compressed air and filling with water. Application of aforesaid arrangement of device allows for reducing water content in recovered sapropel together with saving power in its recovery. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
