FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: planting machine has frame with carrier wheels and fixed planting sections. Planting cylinder with cups having drop bottom, feeding pipe, shank, covering wheels and tape with guiding pins are mounted on planting sections. Tape is driven from covering wheels. Planting cylinder has hydraulic drive connected with tractor hydraulic system through electrically controlled throttle, planting cylinder rotational speed sensor and planting unit motion speed sensor. During advancement of planting machine, signals are delivered from both sensors to computing and controlling unit. Upon processing of signals, computing and controlling unit together with electrically controlled throttle change rotational speed of planting cylinder, with seedling spacing being maintained at predetermined value.
