FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: yield of concentrate is varied (for example, by changing consumption of reagents, pulp level in flotation machines, etc.) in dependence on dynamics of readings of analyzers installed on streams of concentrates and tails of any concentration cycle. When nickel levels in concentrate and tails steadily and simultaneously lower, command signal to reduce concentrate yield arises. If readings of analyzer installed on concentrate stream steadily lower at simultaneous and steady rise of nickel level in tails, command signal to increase concentrate yield arises. Method is distinguished by using, for formation of signal to increase concentrate yield, property of stream analyzer to sharply underrate its readings at too small yield of concentrate. EFFECT: increased accuracy of controlling optimal content of nickel in concentrate. 1 dwg
