FIELD: aerospace engineering; relieving pressure from cavity of flying vehicle to ensure dust and moisture protection. SUBSTANCE: device has cylinder-and-piston drive with return spring engageable with cover provided with elastic trapezoidal cross-section seal with projecting inclined flexible tab and stop engageable with rod of drive. According to first version, stop is made in form of outer race of bearing whose inner race is secured inside symmetric lugs of cover. According to second version, stop has inclined surface whose angle of inclination relative to plane normal to stroke of rod is half of angle of opening of cover. When pressure is present in actuating cylinder of drive, rod holds cover through in closed position and when pressure is relieved, cover opens under action of return spring.
