PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and effectively rearrange a developed toner image and to attain a high definition toner image by installing a toner image rearranging means equipped with plural electrodes on the downstream side of an image forming process with reference to a developing device. SOLUTION: The toner image rearranging means 10 is arranged on the downstream side of the image forming process with reference to the developing device 4. The toner image rearranging means 10 is provided with plural grid electrodes 11-15. Then, the toner image on a photoreceptor drum 1 passes through the grid electrodes 11-15 on the way to a transfer means 6. A rearrangement bias voltage is impressed on each grid electrode 11-15 by a rearrangement bias voltage generating means. The toner image on the photoreceptor drum 1 is rearranged by the rearrangement bias voltage. For example, an alternative bias voltage whose wave is trapezoidal is impressed on each grid electrode 11-15 while shifting a cycle for the electrode from a cycle for the neighboring electrode. Thus, the developed toner image is rearranged more similar to an original image. |
