<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire protective tube which enables reduction of an air resistance and an air noise. SOLUTION: A protective tube 10 consists of a long cylindrical main part 11 which has a dividing line 17 in its lower part in a longitudinal direction and a pair of flange parts 13a and 13b which are pressed against each other and extended vertically downward from both the edges of the dividing line 17. A number of real circular dimples 15 are formed on the outer circumference of the protective tube 10. The diameters and depths of the dimples 15 are approximately 2-5 mm and 0.05-0.5 mm respectively. The respective dimples 15 are densely arranged hexagonally. The protective tube 10 is integrally molded by using a mold in which protrusions corresponding to the dimples 15 are formed beforehand.</p> |
