<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for simple estimation of frequency offset in which the OFDM receiver conducts high speed processing and conducts simple frequency synchronization with reliability. SOLUTION: In a simple frequency offset estimate method, differentiation decoding processing is applied to consecutive OFDM symbols on a frequency region, object offsetsε- S;εS} in existence an offset range -S;S} of an integer multiple are acquired, and an optimum simple frequency offset is estimated not close to±1/2 subcarrier is estimated depending on a relation of position where a first maximum value and a second maximum value among 2S+1 sets of object offsets. The system realizing this method is constituted of an input buffer 100 to apply differentiation decoding to consecutive OFDM symbols, a complex multiplier section 110, a differentiation decoding value storage section 120, an address control section 130, a frequency offset acquisition section 140, and a frequency offset trace section 150.</p> |
