<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for verifying a fuel assembly that inserts a compact neutron detector into the outer periphery or inside of the fuel assembly, and inspects and confirms the configuration of the fuel assembly according to a neutron measurement value. SOLUTION: In the verification method of a fuel assembly, a neutron detector 4 is inserted into the side surface of a fuel assembly 2a to be inspected being accommodated into a fuel rack 1, at the same time, a neutron being discharged from the fuel assembly 2a is measured, and the configuration of the fuel assembly 2a is inspected and confirmed according to the neutron measurement value.</p> |
