PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a discharge condition related to addressing and to eliminate a disturbance in a display. SOLUTION: In a matrix display by an AC type PDP(plasma display panel) of a structure generating a surface discharge by electrodes each other extending in the row direction and covered with a dielectric layer, respective rows of a picture are classified to plural groups K1, K2, K3, and addressing preparation uniformizing a charged distribution and the addressing forming the charged distribution according to display contents are performed at every groups K1, K2, K3 in time division. |
