PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which is capable of increasing a torque only at the time of starting an induction motor, without increasing the size of the induction motor. SOLUTION: A secondary flux command value ϕ2 ** in the low-speed region of an induction motor 3 is made to be larger than that in the high-speed region through a flux corrector 31 and a multiplier 32 in the controller 30 of an induction motor 3 to make an M-axis current command value iM* of the induction motor larger and make a T-axis current command value iT* of the induction motor smaller, and generated torque of a three-phase induction motor is increased, while the T-axis current command value iT* is suppressed to be within the range of the maximum allowable current iImax of an inverter 2. |
