摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a random number that has no bias and also has a large number of digits easily acquirable by calculating the random number value from the one-to-one corresponding function set between the random number value and N pieces of direct products of the coordinate value of a pointer which is set on a display when a pointing device is clicked N times. SOLUTION: When a random number acquisition mode is set (101), a square of (256&times;256) dots, for example, is shown on the display of a personal computer (103). Then a user operates a mouse to move a pointer to his desired position within the square and then repeats the clicking operations by eight times (S105, S107). When the coordinate value of the mouse are set at Xi and yi (0<=xi , yi <=255) in an area which is shown in the first click, the random number value is calculated from the one-to-one corresponding function &Sigma;256<i-1> (256xi +yi ) set between eight coordinate direct products and the random number value (109).
