PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure, make the size small, and automatically inspect whether a contact is correctly set or not by using a single wall part to be inserted into a frame for engaging with the frame of a cartridge. SOLUTION: A connector 30 has a base 2, the base 2 has a mounting surface 3 in the lower part and a joining surface 4 in the front. A pair of wall parts 5 which is a single type serving as an engaging means for engaging with a frame 55 of a cartridge 50 is projected forward from the joining surface 4. When a connector 30 is joined with the cartridge 50, the connector 30 is inserted into an insertion space 58 through an opening of a cartridge 55 by using the tip of the wall part 5 as the introducing side end. When the connector 30 and the cartridge 50 are connected by insertion, the end surface of the wall part 5 reaches the vicinity of a reinforcing rib 61, a contact 12 comes in contact with a terminal 59, elastically deforms so as to be pushed in a holding groove 6, and a hook 14 is separated from an edge 15. |
