PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline battery separator excellent in a liquid holding rate, tensile strength, and battery performance. SOLUTION: A laminated nonwoven fabric comprising a span bond nonwoven fabric and a melt blow nonwoven fabric is further hydrophile treated so as to form a battery separator. The battery separator has a part where a boundary face is partially strongly bonded, and besides the part, has a part where the whole face is weakly bonded. |
