PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the daylight type silver halide photographic sensitive material for forming a printing plate superior in storage stability and capable of obtaining highly stable photographic performance free from uneven development even in the case of low replenishing and rapid processing. SOLUTION: This sensitive material is provided on a support with at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing silver halide grains having a silver chloride content of >=60 mol.%, and a condensed polycyclic hydrocarbon compound having a natural logarithmεmax of the maximum value of a molar light absorption coefficientεof 4.0-6.5 in the wavelength region of 250-400 nm, or at least one kind of compound same in the optical property and the chemical structure as the above-mentioned condensed polycyclic compound, but having a water-soluble group in the structure.
