PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom device which can specify the persons just standing in front of an intercom slave unit and also can automatically perform various operations for every specified visitor. SOLUTION: This device consists of an intercom slave unit 3 which has a camera to photograph the visitors and is placed near an entrance and an intercom master unit 5 through which a user can talk with the visitor while viewing the visitor's image photographed by the comera. Then an ID plate 1 where an ID code is written as the data on every visitor and which is carried by the visitor is added to the device together with a visitor specification device 9 which specifies every visitor based on the data written into the plate 1 read by the camera and an operation device 11 which performs the prescribed operations for every specified visitor.
