PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information suitable for a specific person on a signboard when the person exists in the vicinity of the signboard. SOLUTION: In a sign display device 10 having a signboard 11 displaying information by ultilizing liquid crystal and LEDs and a display information storage device storing information to be displayed on the sigboard 11, this device is constituted of ID plates 1 on which ID codes being data corresponding to users are written and which are to be carried by respective user, an ID code reader 3 reading the data written on the ID plate 1, a user specifying device 4 specifying a user from the content read by the reader 3 and a signboard controller 9 displaying information corresponding to the specified user on the signboard 11. |
