PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect charge data from a tuner to a PHS unit, to secure a telephone line with a satellite broadcast company, to transmit charge information and to eliminate necessity for installing a telephone line by transmitting charge data outputted from the runer by means of a device incorporated in the PHS unit and reporting it to a broadcast provided through a public line network. SOLUTION: Charge equipment 8 in broadcast company equipment for a satellite communication charging system receives charge information from a tuner 1 of household equipment and executes charge management such as its charge calculation and recognition, charge accumulation and management and its charged money collection recognition, etc., as against whole tuners which are grasped by the broadcaster at each tuner. Besides, charge information corresponding to a broadcast video program is generated. Moreover, satellite broadcast equipment 9 executes video tape recording of video programs to be transmitted by a satellite broadcast and its editing, transmits the respective video programs and transmits charge information from the charge equipment 8 before transmitting the respective video programs in accordance with the respective video programs. |
