<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character picture allocating method/device for allocating with a simple operation a character picture where one arbitrary row in a character column picture of plural rows is set to be a reference row. SOLUTION: In a character picture allocating method, one allocation processing out of an equal collation processing, a left end adjusting processing, a right end adjusting processing, a center arranging processing, an enlargement processing and a reduction processing is executed on row (n)(2<=n<=m) in a character column picture of m(m>=2). A reference row selection process for selecting one arbitrary row in n-rows as a reference row and another row allocation process for allocating the respective character column pictures of other rows to an allocation range with the range of length on the character column picture of the reference row as an allocation range are provided. When the length of the character column picture of n-rows being allocation objects exceeds the length of the allocation range in the other row allocation process, the row is allocated to the allocation range by the reduction processing.</p> |
