PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a real-time picture displaying system capable of displaying a picture of satisfactory gradation and resolution by sufficiently showing the performance of a picture display part even when the information quantity of picture data is smaller than that of a picture display part in a video telephone system. SOLUTION: Picture data sent from an opposite communication terminal is compared with an information quantity which can be displayed by a monochromatic liquid crystal display part 9, at an information quantity comparing part 22a. When the information quantity of the picture data is smaller, picture the data is given density pattern processing by a density pattern processing circuit 18a to be displayed on the part 9. When the information quantity of the picture data is larger, the picture data is dither-converted by a dither picture converting circuit 18b to be displayed on the part 9. |
