PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a portable telephone set that is easily manufactured in a short time and with few number of components. SOLUTION: An anode of a light-emitting diode 11 is connected to a cathode of a rectifier diode 12 at a connecting point 21,a cathode of the light-emitting diode 11 is connected to one terminal of a coil 13 at a connection point 22, and the other terminal of the coil 13 is connected to an anode of the rectifying diode 12 at a connecting point 23, and the components above except for a light- emitting section of the light-emitting diode 11 are placed in a cap shaped main body. The main body is used, while being inserted to a tip of an antenna. A current is induced in the coil 13 and a reply signal that is sent at the arrival of an incoming call to a portable telephone set. The light-emitting diode 11 is lighted only for a positive period of the current via the rectifier diode 12, and then the arrival of the incoming call can be confirmed. It is sufficient that there be one set of rectifying diode for the display device and only three connecting points are required, and the manufacture cost is reduced. |
